565 Runner S30Z.

I’ve seen this machine few and far between on the internet over many years. each time, more to wonder about it. I can’t help but obsess over almost any cool, authentic, and engaging S30Z as they are my favorite cars, but this one has always stuck in my mind as a favorite. entering Tsukuba Circuit to see it waiting in the pits was an unreal experience. I’ve now taken more photographs of it than I’d ever seen in totality over the many years since the first time I saw it, such an epitome of what vehicular culture is like in Japan. machines with seemingly accidental mystery, and the fruit awaiting uncovering it all is always worth the search.

the owner was incredibly kind and despite a long day of hard driving, was ecstatic to show off his car to me as it was loaded up in the parking lot. I can only hope to encounter this phenomenal machine again one day.
